School Entrance Physical Examination Requirements:
Each student who is entitled to admittance to kindergarten, or is entitled to any other initial entrance into a Florida public or private school must present certification of a school entry physical examination performed within the twelve months before enrollment in school.
Each District School Board and the governing authority of each private school, may establish a policy that permits a student up to thirty school days to present a certification of a school entry examination. A child may then be allowed to register and enter school. If the parent/guardian of the child fails to present evidence of a medical examination within thirty school days, the principal will exclude the student until examination documentation is presented to the school.
